BAKLAWA: You can see why this is award winning Baklawa, and once you taste it you will never be satisfied with any other Baklawa or baklava. It’s buttery crispy, nutty, and surprisingly light and delicious.
We use only fresh phyllo dough ( 40 layers I might add), layers are buttered, a walnut pecan center, slow baked, then dressed in the perfect amount of our orange blossom sugar syrup. We never use oil or corn syrup as most others have.
My customers continually tell me this is the best Baklawa they have ever eaten anywhere. Even people who never liked it before tasting mine are now hooked. Many don’t even bother making it anymore themselves and just purchase mine. All of this makes me truly humble and happy to make it for you.
GHRAYBEH: These buttery shortbread cookies are so creamy, light, delicate, and delicious, they melt in your mouth. It’s almost impossible to eat just one!
The butter and sugar are whipped for a long time until it’s fluffy and creamy. They are then slow baked; over 2 hours at a very low temperature. Then the Ghraybeh must cool on the cookie sheet for over 4 hours otherwise they will fall apart.
Ghraybeh will be your new favorite cookie after one blissful bite.
